Jersey shirt and keeping it simple

Today's look is one of my signature summer looks, the comfy jeans and a t-shirt look. As I was getting ready I had a thought that always crosses my mind and I wanted to share. Starting this blog I know I have a lot of competition, but I want you all to know that I started this blog to show that it is ok to be simple. I'm not really big on lots of makeup or spending crazy money on name brand bags and stuff just to keep up with the Joneses. I do like some of the things that those brands have but I don't agree with the pressure that society puts on us woman to have them. A $1000 bag or $400 watch doesn't make you any better than anyone. I remember taking my daughter to school I would see these kids with Gucci and Louis Vuitton bags going to school. These kids would treat my daughter like crap because she didn't have them too. Parents need to really think about what they are teaching their kids when buying them all this expensive stuff. Just because some people can afford it doesn't mean these kids need that stuff . This is my personal opinion,  we need to really start teaching our children to love and accept people for who they are not what they have.
With that being said here is today's look.
